For years artist Dillie Thomas has dedicated her artistic talents to capturing the beauty and serenity of the Desert. Using a palette knife to capture color and detail, Dillie has earned recognition as one of today's most prominent California Desert oil painters.
Dillie has traveled through many of the deserts and mountains of the American Southwest for artistic inspiration.
She strives to capture on canvas the essence of the landscape paying particular attention to the effects of early morning or late afternoon light.
